Transparent counseling and realistic treatment goals

At the ROC in Aschheim near Munich, we place great emphasis on providing clear explanations, setting realistic treatment goals, and developing a treatment plan that fits your daily life, your physical demands, and your personal goals. Especially in orthopedics —and particularly for patients specifically searching for “orthopedics in Munich” —not every treatment is appropriate for every condition. That’s why we take the time to explain your findings in a way that’s easy to understand and work with you to determine the right treatment strategy.

Modern Orthopedics in Aschheim, near Munich

As a private orthopedic practice near Munich, we provide you with transparent advice on which treatments are medically appropriate for your situation—and which are not. Whether it’s conservative orthopedics, regenerative therapies, or minimally invasive procedures, we develop a personalized treatment plan based on your symptoms, medical findings, and goals.

    Orthopedic treatment with clear goals

Every person has different needs—such as specific symptoms, physical activity levels, pre-existing conditions, and work-related stress. That is why, at the ROC, you will not receive a one-size-fits-all program, but rather a personalized orthopedic treatment plan based on modern diagnostic methods and a personalized medical assessment.

    Frequently asked questions

As a patient with public health insurance, can I receive treatment at the ROC?

Yes, even if you have public health insurance, you can receive treatment at the ROC. However, since we are a private orthopedic practice, treatment is provided on a self-pay basis.

What orthopedic conditions does the ROC treat?

At our practice near Munich, we treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system—including issues with the knees, hips, shoulders, spine, feet, and hands. These include, for example, osteoarthritis, tendonitis, overuse injuries, sports injuries, joint problems, and chronic pain. Following an orthopedic examination, we develop a personalized treatment plan.

    Appointments outside office hours possible?

Do you need an appointment outside of regular office hours? Please contact our expert team at the private orthopedic practice in Aschheim near Munich—we’ll find a solution.

What do I need to bring to the first appointment?

Please bring any relevant documentation regarding your symptoms—if available—so that we can get a comprehensive picture of your condition as part of the orthopedic evaluation. This includes, in particular:

    • current findings
    • Medical reports
    • X-ray, MRI, or CT images/reports (ideally from the past 6 months)
    • a list of your medications (if applicable)

This will allow us to assess your symptoms more quickly and accurately.

I had an accident, what should I do?

Accidents and pain cannot be planned, so we will do our best to give you an appointment on the same day or the following day.

Call us at +49 89 46259930, schedule an online appointment, or send us an email at praxis@roc-aschheim.de.

Can I get a second opinion at the ROC?

Seeking a second orthopedic opinion is not an “insult” to a doctor’s expertise, but rather a natural step to take when you’re unsure. We are convinced that everyone has the right to multiple opinions. Are you facing surgery? Have you been told that nothing more can be done or that potential treatment options are very expensive? Don’t hesitate to contact us. There is always something that can be done. Because we strive to find the right path for you!

Do you also examine and treat children?

Of course, the best way to do this is to call the practice on +49 89 46259930 or send us an e-mail.

Do you treat BG / occupational accidents?

Following a workplace injury, you are generally free to seek initial treatment from a doctor of your choice and are welcome to visit us at the ROC first. Our orthopedic clinic in Aschheim, near Munich, can provide an initial orthopedic evaluation. If further therapy or follow-up treatment is necessary, you must consult a doctor licensed by the German Workers’ Compensation Insurance (BG).

    Are you operating?

We do not perform traditional inpatient surgeries, but we do offer outpatient minimally invasive procedures. As a private orthopedic practice near Munich, we first explore appropriate conservative, regenerative, and minimally invasive treatment options in order to avoid or postpone surgery whenever possible.

If surgery is medically necessary, we will discuss this openly with you and, if needed, refer you to experienced specialists in our network. Surgery should always be considered a last resort.

What treatment options does your orthopedic practice in Aschheim, near Munich, offer?

At ROC, we combine modern orthopedic diagnostics with conservative, regenerative, and—when appropriate—minimally invasive treatment methods. The treatment that is right for you depends on your diagnosis, the duration of your symptoms, your activity level, and your personal goals. We provide transparent advice on appropriate options and possible alternatives.

    What is IHHT?

IHHT stands for INTERVALL HYPOXIE HYPEROXIE TRAINING

Altitude training at rest or under stress:
MITOVIT® hypoxia training usually takes place in practice in a relaxed situation while lying down. The application is perceived as pleasant and causes many people to relax and fall asleep. In contrast to the altitude training of athletes, there is usually no sporting activity during hypoxia training. In order to imitate the stimuli of physical exertion, MITOVIT® hypoxia training uses a more reduced oxygen concentration. As a rule, athletes undergo altitude training at an altitude of approx. 2,000 - 5,000 meters, which corresponds to an atmospheric oxygen concentration of approx. 16 % - 12 %.

    • Higher mitochondrial performance
    • Strengthens the immune system
    • Optimizes stress resistance
    • Ensures balance in the autonomic nervous system
    • Promotes the ability to concentrate
    • Increased protection against oxidative stress
    • Stimulates the fat metabolism (faster weight reduction)
    • Good for the cardiovascular system
    • Regeneration times are shortened
    What exactly is vnsanalysis®?

The vnsanalysis® is a painless and side-effect-free analysis of the autonomic nervous system. This method is used to detect emerging diseases in good time, even if the laboratory parameters and other test results do not yet indicate this.

Our autonomic nervous system regulates all vital functions, such as the cardiovascular system, breathing, blood pressure, our immune system, etc. According to clinical studies, excessive activity of the so-called tension nerves promotes disease formation and therefore affects our life expectancy.

With the VNS analysis, the balance between stress and relaxation can be measured and recorded graphically. If the stress level is elevated, this causes regulatory disorders (e.g. poor organ regulation) and means a significant deterioration in your state of health.

The VNS analysis is uncomplicated (similar to measuring blood pressure) and is therefore an ideal preventive tool for the whole family.

What are the advantages of the VNS analysis?

    • Ideal prevention (twice a year)
    • Clarification of health and disease prognoses
    • Measurement of your body's current stress level
    • Measuring burnout risk
    • Measurement of your body's current stress management in everyday life
    • Monitoring the effects of medication and therapies
    • Analysis and risk assessment of all organs for existing diseases
Can I have an MRI with a pacemaker?

In many cases, an MRI scan is possible even with a pacemaker—but this must be assessed on a case-by-case basis. At the ROC in Aschheim near Munich, we determine the requirements in collaboration with an external cardiologist (a pacemaker specialist) and plan the examination accordingly.
