The ROC in Aschheim near Munich is once again setting new standards in orthopaedic care: The Regenerative Orthopaedic Center (ROC) is the first practice in Germany to offer a state-of-the-art, minimally invasive method for treating carpal tunnel syndrome and snapping finger - using the innovative system Spirecut. The new technology from Switzerland enables procedures without a skin incision, without scars and without prolonged downtime.
The Spirecut method was developed by the Swiss medical technology company Spirecut and marks a turning point in modern hand surgery. Using patented Sono-Instruments® and high-resolution ultrasound guidance in real time, pathological structures in the area of the carpal tunnel or finger tendons can be treated in a targeted manner - with just a tiny puncture of the skin. This completely eliminates the need for a skin incision, sutures or post-operative dressings. The result: no visible scars, no stitches, no wound management - and a return to everyday life the very next day. Activities such as typing, washing hands or office work are usually possible again immediately.
The new technology is currently being used for two common hand diseases in particular:
Both indications can be treated quickly, precisely and almost painlessly with Spirecut - a real step forward for affected patients.
Another advantage: the procedure with Spirecut only takes a few minutes, is performed under local anesthesia without a tourniquet and requires neither a complete surgical kit nor surgical assistance. As a pioneer in Germany, the ROC in Aschheim is the first facility to use this procedure across the board, offering a pioneering alternative to traditional hand surgery.
Spirecut technology opens up a new perspective, especially for patients who are heavily involved in their work and people with high aesthetic demands. No bandages, no rehab, no inability to work - one night is often enough for complete regeneration.
Spirecut stands for "Swiss Percutaneous Instruments for Rapid and Efficient Surgery" - and fulfills this promise in every respect. The method is not only efficient, but also safe, gentle and virtually traceless. This clearly sets the ROC in Aschheim apart from conventional surgical offerings and sets new standards for the patient-oriented treatment of hand diseases.
