IHHT - Altitude training like the pros

In practice, MITOVIT® hypoxia training usually takes place in a relaxed setting while the patient is lying down.

The treatment is perceived as pleasant and causes many people to relax and fall asleep during the session. Unlike altitude training for athletes, hypoxic training generally does not involve any physical activity. To mimic the effects of physical exertion, MITOVIT® hypoxic training uses a significantly lower oxygen concentration. Typically, athletes’ high-altitude training takes place at an altitude of approximately 2,000–5,000 meters, which corresponds to an atmospheric oxygen concentration of approximately 16%–12%.

Take advantage of the positive effects and benefits of altitude training:

  • increased mitochondrial function
  • strengthens the immune system and optimizes it
  • Stress resilience helps maintain balance in the autonomic nervous system
  • promotes the ability to concentrate
  • increased protection against oxidative stress
  • stimulates fat metabolism (faster weight loss)
  • good for the cardiovascular system
  • Regeneration times are shortened
